I appreciate that you pretty accurately describe Macgregor's views but I think you make a mistake in conflating the Communist Soviet Union of 1989 with Russia of 2023. In addition to the fact that Russia is no longer communistic, considerable change has happened during those thirty-four years, as should be expected. Germany in 1914 was different from Germany of 1948 as was Japan during that same period. When I was a kid in the late 1950's the label "Made in Japan" meant junk, cheaply made and shoddy which broke soon. By the 1980's Japanese goods were of the highest quality. The same can be said of Korea or Singapore or China.
To get a more balance and first view of Putin I once again suggest either reading or listening to Oliver Stone's series of interviews with Putin.
As for General Mark Hertling, you say he is at least as qualified as Macgregor. Yes and Tony Fauci was also well qualified. The question is not whether an expert is qualified but whether he is accurate, honest and objective. Hertling is a Three Star General which I take to mean expertise in political maneuvering , not military understanding. Evidence of that is in the Politico article he wrote called, "Putin's Attack on the U.S. is our Pearl Harbor- Make no mistake: Hacking the 2016 Election was an act of War" Anyone who writes crap like that is a political hack masquerading as a military expert.
I'll have to see whether my skepticism of Pony Tail Guy changes after I get a chance to view the video.
Does PP2 have an expected publishing date?
For any World economic/power review, I like Felix Zulauf, because he is paid to foresee that. And he sees a direction away from the US dollar, and the ascension of the BRICS. The US has 4% of humanity and can't hold.
Doug MacGregor does mention how the West lied about the Minsk Agreements, after their coup with the comedian, and corruption is rampant in Ukraine. All givens, no contest. MacGregor wonders what the US gets out of this, other than bribes from General Dynamics? And are they on the tiller right now?
Trying to run the Russians out of town, and their own terrain - is not historically supported. And it is bad character to pretend otherwise, by all parties - esp. Germany. Putin begins to look like Maeterlinck.

I thought it was Ivor Cummings, too until I was corrected. It's Cummins.
I have a specific health question re: sugar vs. protein: my dad is borderline Type 2 diabetic, and his doctor keeps telling him to stop drinking milk, because it’s “just sugar!” I tell him she’s wrong; milk is fine. Enjoy the milk. (He loves milk, and FWIW he drinks only whole milk). But admittedly, I am not an M.D. Would you please be able to address this issue? Is milk “just sugar,” and if not then why would my dad’s doctor be under this impression?
Also, & this might fall outside your interest, but I have started implementing Time Restricted Eating. However, I am not quite sure exactly what breaks a fasting state. Information is contradictory & doesn’t include supporting data. I drink coffee with whole milk & a scoop of collagen powder. I don’t consider this breaking the fast, but maybe it does? Additionally, my schedule doesn’t allow for morning exercise except on the weekend, & I will do long runs (15+ miles) with only that coffee for breakfast beforehand. I don’t know if there is an exercise threshold after which it might be dangerous or ill-advised to exercise while fasting. I have thus far had no problems, but that doesn’t mean I am not perhaps doing some harm to myself.
I love your newsletter, BTW! I have learned so much.

And now that I've left France to come and live in Boulder CO, you're gone ! You could have taught me how to ski, and we would have taught you the secrets of French Cuisine in Keto style ! :-)
Hi Dr. Eades. After recently reading the updated immunology textbook you mentioned, would you say there’s any merit to the argument that children under two years old cannot make antibodies, thus childhood vaccines given prior to two years of age are all risk and no reward? Thank you!
Ukraine Is Sinking. Are Western Elites Bailing Out?
What makes the RAND Corporation’s latest report on Ukraine so significant, is not the quality of the analysis, but the fact that the nation’s most prestigious national security think-tank has taken an opposite position on the war than the Washington political class and their globalist allies. This is a very big deal.
Dr Eades, I lost 50 lbs in 4 months following your 6-week cure (extended out multiple months), followed you for 12 years, and can say verily you screwed the pooch on snow in Dallas. Bear with me on my snow credentials: I went to school for 5 years under Lake Superior where winter lasted 6 months and the season averaged around 200 inches per, double what those amateurs get in upstate new york get. I drove on that stuff, and yes I know people can drive in snowy conditions. But in Dallas its something that is not seen in the north: the above freezing air-mass dropping wet rain onto below-freezing pavement makes sheet ice. That just doesn't happen up north, and NO ONE can drive on it no matter their experience. People in Dallas are afraid for good reason because anyone who goes out truly takes their lives and that of others in their hands. That picture you showed with a light dusting of snow? That was ice underneath it, unless you are in some weird extra-dimensional pocket of Dallas that didn't get rained on with ground-temps hovering below freezing these past few days. Stick to the health and nutrition, you got that stuff. Thanks again!
If most benefits from fasting are due to the elimination of carbohydrates, will a carnivore diet result in similar weight loss to fasting?
Loved this one especially the protein turns to sugar explanation. Also, I really enjoyed your chat with Dr. Berry. I love when someone is able to research history and report back to us in a way that is easy to understand. Eat your meat folks. Keep them coming Dr. Eades
So about protein synthesis, I wear a CGM, work out fasted mornings 5 days per week, consume < 15 total grams carb per 6 hour eating window per day and yet my CGM shows 120 to to 130 throughout periods of activity. This is mostly the gym but last couple of days it was running the boat and fishing. If I understand correctly, you are saying this is mostly glucose is from stored glycogen which seems like I would not have much of with very low carb diet and working out. I am 26% fat so do have plenty of that. How do I connect the dots?
One more time, Dr. Eades: Do you see any difference
between a doctor walking into a room to tell a
patient "You are a diabetic" and "You have diabetes"?
If not, I'll accept your response. (but I doubt it).
Having lived for 42 years in a ski town, personally I would be glad that drivers unfamiliar with winter conditions are afraid to go out. Every time we had a fresh snow, most of the cars off in the ditch were from places like California; they don't seem to understand the concept of "slow down". Much safer for the rest of us if people like that stay off the road.
On a related note, too many people seem to think that four-wheel drive makes them immune from loss of traction.
