Morning Doctor. Greetings from Cleveland, Ohio. I just wanted to say thanks for coming to Substack and I hope it works out for you. I also want to say that, although I may not agree with everything you say, I look forward to each and every issue and I love where you take us. Nice job. Keep it up!!
I agree with all you say today, and I'm on that 'left'. I don't see people with whom I disagree on politics (or most other things) as stupid enemies but as debate and learn buddies. My view of Trump was reviewed after I read the Scott Atlas book, and I did note that Trump did not want to start a war - a big positive to me. As you say, swings and roundabouts.
I had the same thoughts as you when I read the Attia post on the 'flu shot.
Looking forward to Protein Power 2 - got to keep mentioning to help you along!
Great to see you on Substack Dr. Eades. Time will tell if it’s superior to the email blast. Not having to peruse a comments section (yes, some of us are that interested) may turn out to be golden.
I’ve been wondering about your golf cohort, you mentioned a while back that none of them have suffered vaccine injuries (or pre-mature death) yet almost all took the mRNA jab. I assume this is an extended set of males, not just a couple of foursomes. This week’s Arrow mentioned SADS as a new Medicare code, have you followed or read The Ethical Skeptic’s MMWR/CDC statistical analysis and what do you think of his data model? How does his work square with your golf game cohort? If excess deaths in the US is what he purports (he believes CDC assigns many of these to an acute COVID infection) why isn’t it showing up in our closest community acquaintances?
Good morning Doctor. I have enjoyed reading your emails ever since I discovered The Arrow a few years ago. It is something that I look forward to every week and I always learn something new. I have always wanted to write you an email on some of the topics you cover, but never get around to it. By the way, I continue watching Chef Jean-Pierre. Even though most of his dishes aren't Low Carb, he is quite entertaining and his pork chop recipe is fantastic! Anyway, I will keep this short by just saying thankyou and I am SO happy you are now on Substack! Looking forward to next weeks article. :)
I noted your comment on Tart Cherry extract and bought some. I have some elbow strain injury that I cannot totally avoid repeating. It seems to me that a few days of 2-a-day is making a difference; I will update in a few weeks. I noted your point about fat soluble, though I almost always have any supplements with a meal anyway. Thanks a lot. Looking forward to the birth of "Protein Power 2 " !

Hello, Dr. Eades. I think you'll like Substack. There are a few trolls in the comment section, but not many. Most are of the stacks I read have intelligent commenters that add to the discussion. I hope you will take a little time to interact with them.
Thanks for the info on the flu vaccine. Neither my husband nor I (ages 70 and 67) have ever taken the flu shot and we've never had the flu. Can you please post some info on the shingles vaccine sometime? Neither of us have had that, either, and I'd like your opinion on it. THANKS!

Thank you for this and previous posts. I never felt comfortable sending an email!
“Politics is an opinion, not a measurement of innate intelligence or goodness or artistic merit.“
Omg…I love this. More people need to hear this! Love your musings. I learn something every time.
I enjoy your very informative blog and agree with most of your thoughts, including Trump.
Kind regards from Ireland
Welcome to Substack Doc and greetings from Syracuse NY! Always look forward to your blog!
Michael
Topical as ever. Read the FLCCC item on RSV,Influenza and Covid yesterday, what works and what doesn't! So your item on flu jabs is a timely reminder.
Thank you for your blog
Neil
PS makes a cheery end to the week

I plan on doing so. As you can see from above, I have already.
Hey doc, I tried the tart cherry and it helped but I had really weird, vivid dreams. Is this a one off?

Re the shingles vaccine...
I'll have to find the time to study up on it. It wasn't around when I was in primary care practice, so I have no first hand experience to go by.
