That montage of media clips blaming the unvaccinated reminded me of how crazy that time was. Truly dystopian. And now just a short 1-2 years later, it's as if nothing ever happened.
Thanks for reminding me of the typo. I noticed it right after I hit send (of course), then meant to go back and correct. Then got distracted (or whatever), and never got back to it. All fixed now.
I signed on to Low Carb Down Under, and started with Drs. Mike and Mary Dan. Really enjoyable, but the new thing for me was I found out the Greek letter delta has an upper and lower case. Of course! Why wouldn't it? I been living in the Ozarks a while now....thanks for the lernin
Speaking of regulatory capture, I have had a rant I wanted to get off my chest for a while. Colchicine has been used in its plant form for millenia, the molecule for more than a century. The FDA in its infinite wisdom has taken a drug that should be as cheap as aspirin and made it expensive. (explicatives omitted)
Yep, I wrote about the colchicine screw job in a previous Arrow. Really maddening that such a drug that's been around forever suddenly is available only at new drug prices. Criminal.
Loved the last video (they’re all good) - it’s what Bret Weinstein calls the “slice and dice” method of keeping all groups or tribes from staying formed or cohesive - done purposely so that no group ever coalesces into a power house. Just like those two men- agree/disagree/agree and split up - pretty funny. And not funny at all. Speaking of Bret, if you get a chance, watch his video talking with Efrat Fenigson, an independent Israeli journalist - absolutely gutting and nuanced.
Finally got the MSNBC video to play, which I find simply infuriating - how I would love to confront any of them now - especially the dork who condemns those doing their own research. Oh sure - listen to Fauci or Biden - no one lying or completely wrong there. But then we have the gift of Matt Taibbi’s humor; and he is so right on!! Thanks for mentioning that column of his - somehow I missed it.
I love Efrat Fenigson. I'll have to look up the Brett-Efrat conversation. I, too, was severely pissed with the guy who decried those doing their own research. I laughed throughout the entire Tiabbi piece.
What causes the clover to die? Is it by intention--deprived of water? How often is it reseeded with clover? Is the cut grass part of the fertilizing process?
I'm sure clover, like all plants, has a life cycle. It sends new shoots up from it roots until it runs its life cycle, then dies, and the plant material decays. The dead clover and grass provide minimal true fertilizer. The symbiotic bacteria that grow in nodules around the root of the clover is able to fix the nitrogen from the air and convert it to an organic form the plants can use to grow.

Yes, but many of us remember. I'll have to play that piece once every couple of months just to make sure people don't forget.
Very entertaining and informative, as usual. Two more typos: first sentence, Aukland should be Auckland.
The entire article is worth reading…Istraelis should be Israelis

Only 2:
The guy who own the 1,000 acre farm
The guy who owns . . .
We’ll head to an VRBO tomorrow
We’ll head to a VRBO
Thanks for finding the typos.
