About Fauci, many may have forgotten, but in a news conference in 2017, Fauci proclaimed (this is from memory), "President Trump will face a pandemic from a novel pathogen during his term in office". I ask you, can ANYONE predict a pandemic with this degree of specificity (within 3 years) unless they had a hand in its origin? I suspect that Fauci engineered the release of SARS2 to thwart President Trump's chances of re-election. Conspiracy theory? I ask you for a better explanation.

With respect, I’ve read enough here about Covid vaccines and numb nuts Fauci. I would like to see more content on health and nutrition.

The whole Covid thing exposed power hungry bureaucrats at all levels of government. Big Pharma making a killing on their experimental vaccines was to be expected. To all citizens the message is clear…..shut the fuck up, listen to your betters (THE SCIENCE), and pay your damn taxes!

Baaaah! Baaah! Sorry….. lambs are supposed to be silent when led to slaughter.

If 18 million people died from Covid (to date) would that fact not give Fauci the best score since Mao in the 1960's, with his Great Leap Forward? And Mao may have believed what he was doing. Fauci is a modern Lysenko, and the damage he has done to science, and our sacred trust in vaccines will forever be incalculable.

Maybe, but I doubt he thinks so.

His actions have made me, for the first time in my professional career, take a deeper look at vaccines in general. For that, I am thankful to him.

If your schedule allows, I’d highly recommend the Sydney Harbor Bridge climb. It’s not overly strenuous (climbing short ladders with walking up moderate inclines) and the views from the top of the bridge are well worth the effort.

I saw people climbing it, but our schedule was so tight we didn’t have the chance to join then. We were busy throughout the entire conference. Maybe next time.

Phew - happy you got there and kudos to MD for that amazing picture of the opera house. I’ve ordered the audible version of McCullough and Leake’s book - amazingly it’s still available since the audible link is through my amazon account - a bit of a WTF conundrum. I’ve downloaded it - and if it disappears (surely not possible?) I’ll let you know. We are truly living in a bizarro world.

I didn’t catch any typos - enjoy the talks and the trip. btw - I think Anthony Chaffee and his partner are in Paris for some Rugby matches, so you probably won’t see him at the conference.

Well, my liuck being what it is, no sooner had I hit send on this issue of The Arrow than I got an email from John Leake telling me that Amazon had errored in taking their book down, and that it was back up. Timing is everything.

But just think what a great job/service you performed in getting more copies sold - good work!

Dear Mike - I’ve signed up for your Protein Workshop on 30th but I think it will be 1am UK time so I’ll watch the next day when a link is sent. I think I get enough protein, I eat very low carb/high fat/high protein since 2007. I have a question though: when I have my six monthly routine blood tests, usually fasting ones, my serum urea levels are always abnormally high in the renal function test - this has always been the case since adopting low carb/high fat/high protein way of eating. If I have a blood test during the daytime which is not a fasting one my serum urea levels are still abnormally high and my serum creatinine levels also abnormally high. I know this is undoubtedly due to the protein I eat, and neither I nor my doctor is concerned about the test results but I just wonder if the high urea is behind a dry mouth I get. I drink lots of water and I take extra salt as per what J Volek and S Phinney wrote in their book ’The art and science of low carbohydrate living' to increase water and salt when on low carb diet as the body doesn’t hold on to water so much on low carb, hence the salt to help that….but I also think it’s the high urea levels from high protein causing my dry mouth symptoms. What do you think ?

At first blush, I wouldn't think so. Especially if you're drinking plenty of fluids. I'll have to think about it a bit. A low-carb diet can definitely be dehydrating, so maybe you're not getting enough fluid despite drinking a lot. In the early stages of a low-carb diet, subjects need to increase sodium intake because the body is dumping it early one. But that generally stabilizes after a while. You might try cutting back on the salt a bit, just to see what happens.

Hi Mike - if I drank any more fluids I would be almost permanently sat on the loo and getting very little sleep too ! I will cut back on salt, though I don't use a lot, but wonder if there is a connection with the high serum urea which is due to high protein ?

Have you ever been checked for Sjögren's syndrome?

Hi Mike - I've had loads of tests, there's no explanation....apart from age !
