Your post required me to upgrade to Founder! It's just too damned good, too damned scientific for me, only a wannabe scientist, to describe or ever hope to emulate, but let's just say FANTASTIC! I could feast on it all week. (I'm retired!) Thank you for your thoughts, Dr. Eades!

Thank you for the links, Dr. Eades. I just wanted to drop by and say that I’m just finishing up The Clot Thickens, by Dr. Kendrick. It’s fascinating and humorous. Thanks for mentioning it in the past. I highly recommend it to your other followers.

Love the Quiver! For some reason I’m not getting notifications when it drops and I stumble on it after reading the Arrow. Keep up the great work Doc! My favorite (of many) read of the week!!

Re: the Ozempic article, I have been meaning to ask if patients taking semaglutide to treat their diabetes wouldn’t suffer similar adverse effects. The ads for Ozempic highlight the fact that patients are likely to lose weight while on the drug. It seems like the weight loss they experience should have the same 50/50 muscle to fat balance noted in the article.

Holy moly, Mike! I cannot believe the stupidity of attacking farmers and making sure they don't cause worse climate change by demanding they grow less - or that they cull cows, etc . The world has, evidently and very clearly gone stark raving mad.

Other thoughts? You are funny: exactly when is your birthday coming up and if you're going to mention it, you could at least give us a list of longed-for gifts, no?

Just a few typos or something:

the data is used

the data it used

as causes of like an increased risk of diabetes,

as causes of an increased risk

the 12 celebs creaching their way through

screeching their way through? (although I couldn't bear to watch that one - Imagine is enough of an ear worm just reading the damn title).

It is more than obvious that the world has gone mad. My birthday is June 19. A list of gifts would be unseemly.

Thanks for the typos. Fixed them all except for creaching. That's my own made up word. It's kind of onomatopoeia.

I like the neologism! Just wasn't sure about it.

Here's the latest signifier of total insanity - keep in mind this trans man was born female so I have no idea what 'he' thinks he's proved:
